- The winner of the 2013 German Music Competition: this is the young cellist Jonas Palm (b. 1993), who is now presenting his debut CD with Genuin. - Impressing the competition audience and jury so much with his large, resonant sound, here he plays, with pianist Philip Heiss, the cello sonatas of Beethoven and Mendelssohn, the sound-searching miniatures of Lutoslawski and the mysterious tales of Janacek. - With his Bachelor Degree studies now complete, Jonas Palm continues in furtherance of his training with Prof. Clemens Hagen at the Mozarteum in Salzburg.
